I have been told the contractors relaying the athletic track are due to sign it off on the morning of 28th September, as long as weather ok next week, and that we will be able to have our meeting that evening.
One downside of the new athletic track surface is that we can no longer use it as our paddock area, cycle around it or use rollers on it for warming up.
All cycles will have to be kept grandstand side unless we can negotiate a paddock area on the grass and wheel the bikes across.
The meeting on the 28th will not be a derny meeting as was shown on the programme but be the events that were due on meeting 17 for both seniors and youths.
Meeting 19 on 5th October will include the Regional Women's Omnium.
Lets hope the weather stays good so we can look forward to seeing you on the 28th.
