The highlight of the meeting was the Derny motor paced event for the Bill Bannister Memorial Trophy. Richard Prince and Ian Cooper of the VC Raphael rode a tactical race saving their efforts for the closing laps and with a lap to go looked like finishing first and second, but they were split by on form Chris Richardson of the Agiskoviner team.
