The final meeting of the year, the Bordeaux-Paris meeting, postponed twice because of rain finally took place. The events, Sponsored by AW Cycles and the Elgar Society drew a good entry.
- Close racing in the Bill Bannister Memorial Derny race

The highlight of the meeting was the Derny motor paced event for the Bill Bannister Memorial Trophy. Richard Prince and Ian Cooper of the VC Raphael rode a tactical race saving their efforts for the closing laps and with a lap to go looked like finishing first and second, but they were split by on form Chris Richardson of the Agiskoviner team.

Richard Prince and Ian Cooper continued their winning ways by adding victories in the 10 and 20 lap scratch races.

On form Chris Legg continued to dominate the youth races. Now 16 Chris is a product of the Palmer Park Velo youth team which he joined 10 years ago at the tender age of 6.
