Following the easing of restrictions and adhering to the guidelines given by British Cycling, we are in a position to start track league meetings, albeit on a reduced scale.

The first of two ‘test’ events will be held on 17th August, the second on 24th August 2020. The success/failure of these events will then determine whether we shall be running meetings in September.

These event are open to riders who were affiliated to the league in 2019. We shall be running two categories – there will be no racing for u12s and younger.  Any first year U14s who were regularly racing D league last year, please get in touch so I can verify and accept your entry.

Entry will be using RiderHQ and for the first event will open on 10th August at 19:00 and close on 13th August at 22:00. This is to allow time for all the pre-event paperwork to be completed. Riders need to have BC Silver or Gold membership, a race licence is not required.  Transponders will NOT be used this year.

At each meeting there will be a number of safety measures to ensure the safety of officials, volunteers and riders, such as a one way system into and out of the stadium, separate rider areas for each category/league, riders are expected to maintain social distancing when not racing, no mixing of categories/leagues, …

The race program will consist of short time trials, sprint events and possibly a short bunch race for each category/league, depending on the standard of riding on the night.
